Primary Teaching Assistant Louth

About the role:

We are currently seeking a nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming community primary school in Louth. This is a full-time position due to start September 2026.

The successful candidate will join the school’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, providing high‑quality support to pupils and contributing to a positive, engaging early learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting children in EYFS with their learning and development through play and structured activities
• Assist the room lead with planning and classroom management
• Working 1:1 when required
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment

Pre-requisites:

• Recent EYFS/Nursery experience is essential
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Ability to provide two education or school based references
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
• Ability to provide a safe learning environment
