open communications and order and to provide for the care, direct supervision,
and safety of residents in housing areas, at meals, during recreation and
during all other phases of activity in the residential center. This position reports to a Senior Resident
Supervisor or above.</font></p><ul><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Responsible for maintaining order and security of detainees in a detention facility. </font></span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Able to work any shift, as you may be assigned to a variety of posts including, but not limited to, armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc..</font></li></ul></span></font><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><p><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><strong>Qualifications: </strong></font></p><ul><li><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent.</font></li><li><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">One year of work experience in the child welfare field working with children or adolescents in a social service setting is preferred.</font></li><li><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Must complete pre-service correctional officer training and, where applicable, be a non-commissioned security officer licensed by the state of employment. </font></li><li><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Demonstrate ability to complete any required training. </font></li><li><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Must be available to work any hours, any shift.</font></li><li><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">A valid driver's license is required.</font></li><li><font size="3" style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age. </font></li></ul><p style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"><i><span style="color: black;"><font size="3">CoreCivic is a Drug-Free Workplace and EOE – including Disability/Veteran.<br><br></font></span></i></span></p></span></p>
