Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Navy Automation team in Hørsholm, Denmark.
In this key role, you will lead complex automation projects for naval applications, from pre-sales to delivery and handover. You will manage cross-functional teams, ensure technical and financial alignment, and act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
Working closely with the Navy Automation Program Manager, you will help deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute Navy Automation projects through all phases from design to delivery and acceptance
Lead and coordinate engineering, production, and testing activities to meet contractual, schedule, and budget goals
Serve as the main liaison for customers, ensuring proactive communication and issue resolution
Identify project risks and implement corrective actions where needed
Ensure compliance with internal and customer-specific quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards
Prepare documentation, progress reports, and milestone reviews
Support and facilitate technical problem-solving across teams
Participate in supplier tests, FATs, and trials as required
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with Navy-related security requirements
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering, ideally with focus on Automation or OT Systems
Minimum 3 years of experience in marine or industrial automation project management
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Microsoft Dynamics) and proficiency in Microsoft 365
General understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and platform equipment (valves, pumps, switchgear, etc.)
Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both written and verbal
Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Customer- and result-oriented mindset with high attention to quality and detail
Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, international environment
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Eligibility to obtain NATO security clearance (background check required)
