Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash control procedures and point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
- Open and close the store following established procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and special orders.
- Receive, process, and organize incoming/outbound merchandise shipments.
- Maintain stock balances, monitor inventory levels, and restock merchandise as needed.
- Process Mark Out of Stock (MOS), Return to Vendor (RTV), markdown freight, and inter-store transfers.
- Complete inventory documentation and support annual store inventory counts.
- Execute floor sets and maintain merchandising standards.
- Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure merchandise is properly stored.
- Identify and report safety, housekeeping, customer complaint, and facility maintenance issues.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED and 4+ years of related work experience
- 2+ years of retail sales, customer service, inventory, or store operations experience preferred.
- Experience using POS systems, handling cash transactions, and processing returns/exchanges.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Ability to manage inventory, merchandise transfers, stockroom organization, and customer orders in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and support routine store cleaning/restocking needs.
