About the role: Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire Start Date: October Half Term (Monday 26th October 2026) Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Justteachers is recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in Hinckley seeking an inspiring Teacher of English. The successful candidate will join a dedicated department committed to raising achievement and encouraging a love of literature and language. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan, assess and monitor student progress. Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities. Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and high expectations. Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues. Support intervention programmes where required. Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching English within a secondary setting. Excellent subject knowledge. Strong classroom management skills. Commitment to raising attainment. Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
