(PK9258)</strong></p><p><strong>FOLDER GLUER OPERATOR</strong></p><p><strong>GREATER MANCHESTER</strong></p><p><strong>STARTING SALARY &#163;30K</strong></p><p><strong>SHIFT PATTERN: 12HR SHIFTS - 3 ON / 1 OFF / 3 ON / 7 OFF</strong></p><p>Our client is a privately owned board mill specialising in the manufacture and supply of solid board reels, cores, sheets, cartons, and cardboard envelopes. They are currently seeking a Folder Gluer Operator to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of a DGM folder gluer machine, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality packaging products in line with customer specifications.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>Set up and operate DGM folder gluer machinery to meet production requirements</li><li>Ensure all jobs are produced to the correct specification, quality, and deadline</li><li>Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency</li><li>Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting</li><li>Perform quality checks throughout production runs</li><li>Work collaboratively with other team members and departments</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment</li><li>Adhere to all health &amp; safety and company procedure</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience operating a folder gluer machine (DGM preferred)</li><li>Experience within the packaging industry is advantageous</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Good problem-solving skills and mechanical awareness</li><li>Willingness to work a 12-hour shift pattern</li></ul>
