Fully Remote (B2B Contract)
We are partnering with an innovative fintech business in its growth phase, looking to hire a Head of Marketing (Institutional) to lead and scale its global brand presence.
About the Role
This is a strategic leadership position focused on driving brand growth and strengthening market positioning within the institutional (B2B) space.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive institutional marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion among institutional investors.
- Brand Positioning: Build and communicate strong brand narratives, simplifying complex concepts into clear value propositions tailored for sophisticated, risk-aware clients.
- Thought Leadership: Establish the company and its leadership as industry authorities by producing content such as white papers, research reports, opinion pieces, and blog posts.
- Industry Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at key industry events, including conferences, roundtables, and private events, participating in panels, moderating discussions, and hosting client engagements.
- Content & Communications: Oversee the creation of high-quality institutional marketing materials (e.g., pitch decks, fact sheets, case studies) and manage external communications with financial media.
- Digital Marketing: Partner with the growth team to optimize digital channels (LinkedIn, X, newsletters) to target and nurture institutional audiences.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals and support deal conversion.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 8+ years in marketing, with strong exposure to financial services (investment banking, asset management, fintech), including at least 2 years within Web3, crypto, or blockchain.
- Institutional Expertise: Demonstrated experience marketing to institutional or accredited investors, with a solid understanding of compliance considerations and investment frameworks.
- Web3 Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain, DeFi, staking, custody solutions, and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messaging.
- Executive Presence: Confident and professional, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and fund managers.
- Network: Existing relationships within the institutional investment community are highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA is a plus.
