Join the Macular Society as our mid-value donor manager, and use your expertise to help us grow vital support. About the Macular Society Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. We're the only UK charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease through: World class research to find new treatments and a cure Practical support for people affected by sight loss Trusted advice and support services that empower those living with macular disease About the role The mid-value donor role is a vital part of our fundraising vision and your extensive experience in cultivating and stewarding mid-value donors will help us achieve our ambitions and make a meaningful impact.  Working closely within our passionate and results driven trusts and philanthropy team, you will identify, recruit and develop mid-value donors from cold sources and from amongst our existing supporters and members. You will help us Beat Macular Disease by creating tailored appeal programmes and stewardship journeys that inspire significant and sustained giving. We are looking for someone who: Knows their Stuff when it comes to developing donor programmes that drive significant income. Can Make It Happen by delivering inspiring appeals and donor communications.  Shows They Care in the way they speak with our funders and the way they work and support colleagues across our teams. About you Our ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in mid-value or individual giving fundraising, with a track record of developing donor programmes that drive significant income. Skilled in identifying, recruiting and stewarding donors using data insight, segmentation, and personalised communications. Strong writing, organisational and administrative skills, with experience managing multiple priorities, donor communications, and events. Excellent relationship-building skills, collaborating across teams and with external agencies to deliver outstanding donor experiences. Proactive, empathetic and supportive, demonstrating integrity, commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and a passion for our mission. Confident using IT tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems, to deliver effective fundraising activity.
