Role Overview
We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Business Analyst (m/f/d) - 12-14 months to support business intelligence, reporting, and performance analysis initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional business owners, subject matter experts, and data engineering teams to transform complex business data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
You will play a key role in developing dashboards, improving reporting processes, and supporting the implementation of scalable data models and analytics solutions across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements together with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts for BI reporting initiatives
- Partner with data engineers to support Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) modelling, ELT pipeline implementation, and semantic data models
- Collect, analyze, and interpret performance data across business functions to identify trends, challenges, and improvement opportunities
- Design and develop dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear visualization of complex datasets
- Provide analytical support to improve business decision-making and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Support continuous improvement of reporting, analytics, and data collection processes to enhance efficiency and usability
- Assist in training and supporting end users in dashboard utilization and data interpretation
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and R&D functions
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field
- Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within maritime, automation, or navigation industries
- Strong knowledge of BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, DAX, SSAS Tabular, Azure Analysis Services, and semantic data modelling
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, including Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Dataverse) and Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar project management and collaboration tools
- Experience delivering business insights across multiple domains including Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain & Logistics, HR, and R&D
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in international and cross-functional environments
- Structured and proactive working style with strong prioritization and time management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
