Mechanical Construction Manager – Data Centre Projects Germany Leading European Data Centre Contractor €85,000 – €100,000 package The Company This is an opportunity to join a specialist data centre contractor delivering large scale, high value projects across Europe. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and consistent project delivery, the company is a recognised leader in mission critical construction. Operating from a strong base in Ireland and expanding across key European markets, they focus exclusively on complex data centre builds, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to commissioning. Their projects are fast paced, technically demanding, and built to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Role – Mechanical Construction Manager As Mechanical Construction Manager, you will take full ownership of mechanical building services delivery on a major data centre project in Frankfurt. You will be responsible for coordinating HVAC and pipework installations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring all works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety expectations. This is a key site-based leadership role where you will drive progress, maintain standards, and work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery on a complex, high-value scheme. Key ResponsibilitiesManage all mechanical construction activities across the project lifecycleEnsure full compliance with health and safety standards on sitePlan and coordinate mechanical installations in line with programme milestonesOversee subcontractors and specialist suppliers, ensuring quality and performancePrepare and implement method statements and risk assessments for all mechanical worksManage short-term planning including two-week lookahead programmesMonitor labour resources and ensure efficient site deploymentTrack progress, identify delays or variations, and report to project managementSupport commercial aspects including procurement, valuations, and change managementEnsure all materials and plant meet required specifications and are properly handled on siteMaintain strong communication with clients and key stakeholdersAbout YouDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or strong trade background with progressionProven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or similar role within M&E or building servicesExperience delivering mechanical packages on large scale construction projectsData centre experience is beneficial but not essentialStrong understanding of HVAC systems, pipework, and mechanical installationsExcellent organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced site environmentStrong leadership and ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work frontsDetail focused with a commitment to quality and safetyWhat’s on Offer Salary: €85,000 – €100,000 (DOE) Benefits:Accommodation and travel supportBonusPensionHealthcareContinuous professional development and career progressionOpportunity to work on flagship European data centre projectsWhy Apply?
