About the role: We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Maths Lecturers to join our team in Selby from September 2026 . Whether you are looking for a part-time or full-time position, this is an exciting opportunity to help learners develop the mathematical skills and confidence they need to succeed. In addition to delivering GCSE Maths in Selby, there may be opportunities to work across our wider college network, providing variety, collaboration and further professional development opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths lessons to learners with a range of abilities. Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements. Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback. Contribute positively to learner achievement, retention and progression. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support an outstanding learning experience. Pre-requisites: A degree or recognised qualification in Mathematics or a related subject. Experience teaching Maths within Further Education is highly desirable. Applications from experienced Secondary School Maths Teachers are also very welcome and will be seriously considered. A passion for helping learners achieve success. Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills. A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
