We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Informatica PowerCenter/IICS, Snowflake, ETL development, data warehousing, and data integration. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, supporting business intelligence initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
- Acquire, integrate, and transform data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDF files.
- Develop and optimize complex Snowflake SQL scripts, views, and data models.
- Support Tableau and business intelligence reporting initiatives through efficient data integration.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to design scalable data solutions.
- Perform data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and process diagrams.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Develop automation solutions to improve data processing efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- 8+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration projects.
- 8+ years of experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL development.
- Strong experience with data warehousing and dimensional data modeling.
- Experience integrating data from Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDF sources.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system analysis skills.
- Experience creating technical documentation, process flows, and data models.
- Ability to deliver scalable software and data platforms across enterprise environments.
- Experience following software development best practices and coding standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Healthcare, Government, or HHS environments.
- Experience handling PII and PHI data.
- Experience with Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with Tableau or other BI/data visualization tools.
- Experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services.
- Experience with Java and JavaScript development.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with MuleSoft integration development.
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, or Informatica CLAIRE.
