About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled classroom teachers (primary and/or secondary) who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.

As a Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality teaching and learning, tailored to meet individual needs, while working closely with a multi‑disciplinary team to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Set personalised learning targets and monitor pupil progress
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and senior leaders
• Lead or contribute to a subject or curriculum area
• Manage and supervise classroom support staff
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and health & safety policies

  ✅ Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching a thematic curriculum (primary or secondary)
• Experience within special school settings, particularly SEMH and SEND
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Proven ability to differentiate learning to meet diverse needs
• Working knowledge of ASC and SEMH, including complex presentations

Desirable:

• Additional SEND qualifications
• Experience contributing to curriculum development for SEND learners
• A nurturing, empathetic approach to relationship‑building

• Closing date: Thursday 7th May at 12pm
• Interviews: Wednesday 13th May (venue TBC)
• Support is available for progression onto the Upper Pay Scale, subject to experience and responsibility
