History Teacher Kendal

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an History who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Kendal  area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning History lessons aligned to the UK curriculum
• Delivering engaging content across KS3 and KS4
• Assessing pupil progress using school frameworks
• Maintaining behaviour standards in line with school policy

Pre-requisites:

• UK curriculum knowledge including KS3–KS5
• Classroom management in secondary settings
• Assessment experience using UK marking frameworks
• Safeguarding training and DBS clearance
