Financial Controller (CPA Required)

<div> <p>We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant Controller for a privately owned holding company in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and responsible for overseeing accounting operations for multiple entities.</p> <p>This role goes beyond strategic financial planning. The Controller will actively participate in day-to-day accounting tasks, with a focus on supporting an aviation components business.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>• Manage full-cycle accounting processes for month-end and year-end close<br />• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements<br />• Supervise inter-company transactions and consolidations across entities<br />• Lead accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily transactions<br />• Maintain compliant general ledgers and audit-ready records<br />• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts<br />• Provide detailed financial reporting and variance analysis<br />• Manage cash flow and working capital across entities<br />• Approve sourcing and inventory acquisitions<br />• Calculate and administer sales commissions<br />• Monitor private equity capital calls and distributions<br />• Enhance internal controls and streamline accounting processes<br />• Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>• Active CPA license is a must<br />• Extensive experience as a Controller overseeing financial operations<br />• Proven track record with multi-entity accounting and consolidations<br />• Background in transaction-heavy or manufacturing environments preferred<br />• Knowledge of investment or fund accounting is advantageous<br />• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills<br />• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment</p> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>• Base salary of $135,000 &#8211; $150,000<br />• Performance-based bonus<br />• Health benefits<br />• 401(k) retirement plan<br />• Paid time off</p> <p>This position is perfect for a proactive CPA who enjoys diving into the numbers and excels in a multi-entity setting.
