A Historic Groundbreaking: Bear Development’s Commitment to Sun Plaza Kenosha County marked the commencement of the Human Services building project at Sun Plaza with a groundbreaking ceremony. Under a unique public-private partnership, Bear Development will purchase the current Human Services Department/Job Center property for $1.6 million. The county plans to lease the new Sun Plaza space for five years, after which it will purchase it, benefiting from cost-saving tax credits that Bear Development can secure.
