<p><strong>AWS Connect Solutions Architect / Lead Engineer</strong></p>
<p><strong>£450 – £600 per day | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote | Initial 6-Month Contract</strong></p>

<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>You’ll be brought in to strengthen the current structure, provide senior technical ownership of AWS Connect, and support multiple squads who need specialist expertise.</p>
<p>The business currently uses the platform across telephony and webchat, with ambitions to extend usage into wider customer service and engagement channels.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the engineering strategy and roadmap for the AWS Connect platform</li>
<li>Act as the senior technical SME across multiple product squads</li>
<li>Design scalable, secure, and efficient AWS Connect solutions</li>
<li>Improve and optimise existing telephony and webchat capabilities</li>
<li>Support maintenance, enhancements, and future platform growth</li>
<li>Work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders</li>
<li>Provide hands-on delivery where needed across architecture and engineering</li>

<p>Required Experience</p>
<ul>
<li>Strong commercial experience with Amazon Connect / AWS Connect (essential)</li>
<li>Proven background as a Solutions Architect, Lead Engineer, or similar senior role</li>
<li>Hands-on engineering capability – not just high-level design</li>
<li>Strong AWS services knowledge including:</li>
<li>AWS Lambda</li>
<li>Amazon Lex</li>
<li>Python</li>
<li>DynamoDB</li>
<li>Experience supporting contact centre transformation programmes</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously in a consultative contract environment</li>
