Browse a variety of engaging information technology opportunities available.  SEARCH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY JOBS Innovation Jam Sparks Collaboration, Creativity & Fun Western & Southern held our first-ever Innovation Jam. The event was an engaging way to generate some fresh ideas and increase collaboration among three shared service units within the company: Information Technology, Marketing & Digital Center of Excellence and Insurance Operations. Forty associates were selected to participate from more than 100 applicants. Their assignment was to develop a solution to help the company engage with customers more effectively. Participants had two weeks to form teams and outline the specific business problem their teams would work on at the Jam. The Jam was a two day working session. The teams, each named after a Cincinnati neighborhoods, settled down in working spaces in Guilford Institute classrooms and got to work. By the next afternoon, some teams were winding down while others were still struggling with their final solutions. In all the classrooms, ties were loosened, whiteboards were crammed with text and symbols and associates’ body language looked much different than it did on day one.  In the end, Team OTR, — IT’s Tim Adams, IT business analyst; Christopher Maxwell, software developer; and Mark McFadden, senior software developer; and IO’s Heather Sheehan, senior technical analyst — won first place with their digitized board game concept that would help potential customers identify possible future financial challenges and mitigate them with enterprise financial solutions.
