Part Time Accountant

Change Accountancy and Finance are supporting a leading Glasgow organisation, based in the city centre, to hire a Part Time accountant to their team. Due to the nature of deliverables, applicants will ideally be able to start immediately or at short notice.

A wide ranging role, supporting financial reporting, management accounts, budget setting and forecast review, the post will face off to a range of stakeholders and be hands in preparation and offering insight to the numbers.

The role is 3 days, with 1 in office, but with a flexible model to accommodate a range of work patterns and the duties of the post. Key duties will include;

• Responsible for month end management accounts with supporting commentary
• Producing financial statements
• Balance sheet review and reconciliations, with adjustments
• Working with department heads and wider finance team to assist in budget setting
• Ongoing forecast review and commentary
• Revenue review and investigation
• Presenting and discussing financial performance with key stakeholders and sub boards
• Assisting with other reporting including Tax and VAT
• Adhoc support as required in the department

A unique and all-encompassing position with a range of touchpoints into the business, experience covering a range of duties is key for the role, as well as being adaptable to tasks that arise. The department is well established and the post will support and lead on duties, looking to enhance ways of working where possible.

In return, the position will accommodate, where possible, a range of flexible working patterns for the 3 days required.

Salary:                 £55,000 - £65,000 FTE

Hybrid Model:  1 day in office
