About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic Senior Manager of Social Media to spearhead the strategy and evolution of our client's brand digital presence. This leader will be crucial in driving brand awareness, increasing customer engagement, and achieving business growth by aligning all social media initiatives with broader marketing goals. The ideal candidate blends creative content development skills with strong analytical abilities to deliver relevant, unique results. Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy & Leadership Develop and own the end-to-end, multi-platform social media strategy (including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels). Oversee daily channel management, guaranteeing a consistent brand voice, timely content delivery, and real-time community engagement. Collaborate cross-functionally to align social initiatives with broader business goals and bring key projects from various lines of business to life. Actively monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify immediate opportunities for brand relevance and growth. Lead all social reporting, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing data-driven recommendations. Content & Campaign Development Drive engagement and conversion by producing compelling and platform-optimized content, including posts, articles, interviews, infographics, and video assets. Ensure creative excellence by optimizing all assets for specific platform requirements, audience preferences, and campaign objectives. Provide full social support for major company initiatives, such as product launches, events, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership campaigns. Analytics & Optimization Track, report, and analyze social media KPIs, overall marketing performance, and return on investment (ROI). Leverage social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Google Analytics) to monitor trends, engagement, and user behavior. Execute rigorous A/B testing on content and platform approaches to continuously optimize performance and resource allocation. Partner with marketing teams to effectively implement and integrate paid social media strategies. Qualifications: Experience & Education A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in social media and digital marketing, ideally within consumer-facing brands. At least 2 years in a leadership or senior management role overseeing social media strategy and/or teams. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus.) Key Skills & Attributes Proven success managing high-profile social media accounts and leading complex, integrated digital campaigns. Deep and current expertise in major social media platforms, including algorithms, best practices, and emerging trends. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored for digital audiences. (Proficiency in digital design is a strong asset.) Outstanding people management and cross-functional collaboration abilities, with experience partnering across departments. Highly organized with demonstrated project management excellence, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously. A strong data-driven mindset and extensive experience using analytics and performance measurement tools to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
