Start ASAP in Spring 2026.</p> <p>Hybrid Working &ndash; primarily working from home (WFH), with travel to the office a few times a month on average.</p> <p>A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation business specialising in delivering large-scale Government digital modernisation projects.</p> <p>Key skills, experience + responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li><em>Java Developer</em> with strong back-end Java experience to develop new features for a portfolio of Government Clients.</li> <li>Java 8/11/17, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JEE standards (JPA, JMS, CDI), REST APIs, Oracle DB, PL/SQL.</li> <li>Microservices development on AWS/Azure Cloud platforms including Design Patterns.</li> <li>Java development experience for large-scale integration projects involving messaging, web services + distributed systems.</li> <li>Tech Environment: AWS (ECS, EKS, API Gateway,&nbsp;Serverless), ELK stack (Kibana), DevOps/CI, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, RabbitMQ + IBM MQ.</li> <li>Agile development methods including: Scrum, TDD, BDD, Kanban.</li> <li>Advantageous: Government / GOV.UK / Public Sector experience, Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes), AppDynamics, Angular, React, web apps, domain&nbsp;driven&nbsp;design (DDD).</li> <li>Benefits: Salary to &pound;85k (DOE) + Hybrid Work&nbsp;+ 10% Bonus + Pension + 22 days holiday + BHs (rising to 25 days) + Death in Service + Health Care Plan + More.</li> </ul>
