Liverpool - DTM - Safeguarding Team

Liverpool City Council are currently looking for an experienced Deputy Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take the next step within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Location: 80/82 Wavertree Road, Liverpool, L7 1PH
Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role:

• Supporting the Team Manager with the day-to-day running of the Safeguarding Team
• Providing guidance, supervision, and support to Social Workers
• Overseeing complex safeguarding and child protection cases
• Working closely with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
• Ensuring high-quality assessments, reports, and case management

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Previous experience within Safeguarding/Child Protection services
• Management or supervisory experience within Children's Services
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
