Design, simulation, and implementation of components and systems in the field of communications engineering, including RF circuits, antennas, modulators/demodulators, and digital signal processing units. Integration of hardware and software components into functioning communication systems, ensuring compatibility and performance. Conducting measurements, analyses, and tests for performance evaluation and optimization of existing and new communications systems. Monitoring current trends and technologies in communications engineering and actively participating in research and development projects for the introduction of new solutions. - Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering or a comparable field of study
- Several years of professional experience in the development of systems and components for telecommunications technology, preferably in the fields of wireless communication, mobile communications (e.g. 5G/6G), satellite communication or radar systems.
- Solid knowledge in the field of digital signal processing (DSP), high-frequency (HF) technology and microwave technology
- Knowledge in the fields of modulation and demodulation techniques, coding theory and error correction methods, transmission protocols and networks, or antenna design and measurement technology.
- Proficient use of relevant simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS) and measurement technology (spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes)
- Programming skills in Python, C++ or similar languages are an advantage.
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
