The Role: We’re looking for a Quality Engineer with strong automation testing experience (Cypress.io) to join one of the company’s agile development squads. You’ll be a key part of the software delivery process — supporting new feature development, ensuring testability across the lifecycle, and driving best practices for automation, continuous integration, and deployment. This role suits someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and excited by the idea of shaping testing standards in a fast-paced SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with developers and product teams to build highly testable and reliable software. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress.io and other modern tools. - Champion quality and testing best practices across the engineering function. - Conduct root cause analysis, identify issues, and ensure effective resolution. - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing tools, processes, and documentation. - Work closely with stakeholders to communicate test progress, results, and quality metrics. Essential Skills & Experience: - 3+ years’ automation testing experience. - Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io (or similar web testing frameworks). - Background working in modern web applications (React, HTML/CSS, REST, GraphQL). - Experience implementing BDD practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Solid understanding of version control systems (Git). Nice to Have: - Experience testing distributed or cloud-based applications. - Knowledge of accessibility standards and testing tools. - Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB). - Exposure to API, load, or security testing. - Appreciation of DevOps principles and automation tooling.
