About the role:
justteachers are recruiting for a dedicated Specialist Teacher to join a growing specialist education setting in Grantham in September 2026. Due to recent expansion and an increase in student numbers, this setting is looking to strengthen its teaching team with a passionate and experienced practitioner.
The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs, within a structured and supportive environment. With smaller class sizes and a strong focus on individualised learning, staff are able to provide tailored education that meets each pupil’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
Support pupils with SEN including ASD, communication needs, and complex profiles
Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation through structured approaches
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
Contribute to the continued development of the provision as it expands
Pre-requisites:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice
Ability to manage behaviour positively and effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
