KS2 Teacher Stamford

About the role:

Justteachers are recruiting on behalf of one of our partner primary schools in Stamford for a motivated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher from September until April 2027. This well-regarded and community-focused school is seeking a talented teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis, with the possibility of a permanent role for the successful candidate.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils, supporting them to reach their full academic and personal potential. The school prides itself on providing a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
• Ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing targeted support where required
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Promote a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Referenceable teaching experience within a primary school in the last two years
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
• A genuine passion for primary education and pupil development
