Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to take responsibility for accounting activities across our China entities. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager Asia, local management, and Group Finance, while supervising outsourced accounting providers.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and tax-related matters, while acting as the main accounting interface between China and the global organization. This is a hands-on role with both operational and coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee General Ledger and Accounts Receivable activities for China entities
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with PRC GAAP and IFRS
• Analyze and ensure correct inventory accounting and financial postings
• Support cash flow monitoring and cash-related analysis
• Act as the main contact for accounting-related inquiries and reconciliations with Group Finance
• Supervise outsourced accountants covering AP, treasury, and transactional processes
• Review and coordinate tax filings and compliance with external providers and authorities
• Support statutory audits and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Collaborate with business control and shared service teams on accounting topics
• Contribute to internal controls, reporting improvements, and process alignment

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Solid experience in accounting, including GL, Accounts Receivable, and tax topics
• Strong knowledge of PRC GAAP and IFRS
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization and collaborate across teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Structured, hands-on, and detail-oriented working style
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
