About the Role
I'm working with a software solutions business based in Rugby who are looking for a highly capable and driven Technical Consultant to join their Professional Services team delivering complex, software-based solutions to customers across a range of sectors including government, aerospace & defence, banking, and healthcare.Working as part of a collaborative delivery team, you will partner with Project Managers, Account Managers, and other Technical Consultants to ensure successful implementation and long-term customer success.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end technical consulting services, including:Capturing and analysing customer requirementsDesigning and implementing technical solutionsInstalling, configuring, and deploying enterprise softwareDelivering training, acceptance testing, and go-live supportActing as a subject matter expert across the product suiteCollaborating with internal teams including Pre-Sales, Product, and EngineeringTroubleshooting and resolving complex technical issuesProducing clear documentation, reports, and status updatesSupporting system upgrades and enhancementsContributing to Statements of Work (SoWs)Ensuring smooth transition to support teams post-deliveryYou will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring solutions align with customer needs.Skills & ExperienceEssential:Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline10+ years' experience in software or systems integration environmentsMinimum 5 years' hands-on experience deploying enterprise security solutionsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across enterprise systemsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressureTechnical Expertise (desirable):Identity & Access Management (IAM)PKI, Certificate Authorities, and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)Smart cards, security tokens, and multi-factor authenticationCredential/Identity Management Systems (CMS/IDMS)Cybersecurity technologiesWindows Server, Active Directory, Domain ControllersSQL Server and database queryingNetworking concepts and troubleshootingAdditional InformationHybrid working model based in RugbyTravel to customer sites (~20%)Willingness to undergo security clearance if requiredThis is an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects in a collaborative and technically advanced environment.
