To reinforce our American subsidiary based in Rohnert Park, California, USA  we are currently looking to hire one person for the role of: Quality Assurance Technician Rohnert Park, CA, USA •  Permanent contract, Full time  •  As soon as possible Position Summary The QA Technician is responsible for performing the inspection processes to ensure that products meet established priorities and specifications. QA Technician is responsible for testing materials and products to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting various quality assurance tests using laboratory equipment, documenting results, and making recommendations based on findings. QA Technician is responsible for working closely with Operations and Engineering teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities  Conduct routine testing and analysis of incoming, in-process, and final inspections Maintain accurate records of test results and report any deviations from specifications. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability as necessary. Assist in developing and updating work instructions and quality control inspection plans. Collaborate with Operations and Quality Assurance teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the QA Lab. Participate in internal and external audits as required. Training – make sure all required training is performed and update training records in QCBD Utilize basic mathematical and statistical formulas to analyze test results and identify trends or issues. Keep track of laboratory material, chemicals and supplies, ensuring that the lab is well-stocked for testing needs. Ensure that the laboratory area is clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency Certificate of Conformance – Perform C of C documentation on product shipments from warehouse. Equipment Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) – Assist Quality Engineering in the validation of Operations and Quality equipment. New Project Support - Assist Quality, Operations and Design Engineering in the execution of product development deliverables and First Articles analysis. Promotes an awareness of Quality Assurance goals and processes throughout operations via annual GMP and GDP training and creates an environment committed to continuous quality improvement. Quality Review – Review of records to ensure completeness and compliance to Good Documentation practices. Develop basic inspection programs for inspection tools like Keyence, Zeiss, and MicroVu   Qualifications:   3+ years working with test equipment like Keyence, Zeiss-CMM and MicroVu 3+ years working in a Manufacturing environment with compliance responsibility to ISO 9001 (manufacturing), ISO 13485 (medical device), FDA 21 CFR (medical device), AS9100 (aerospace), ISO 16949 (automotive) or other regulatory requirements. 3+ years with direct administration responsibilities and or clear understanding of requirements for Training, Document Control, Quality Review of Records, handling of nonconforming material, and Corrective/Preventive action processes. Must be a strong advocate for the customer and for product quality in the face of possible adversity Experienced with use of quality tools such as Sampling Plans, and quality improvement techniques such as Cause/Effect diagrams, Pareto charts, Histograms and SPC software with “MiniTab” a plus Ability to read detailed engineering drawings and schematics Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow Strong mathematical skills including Metric and English, measurement manipulation and computation with fractions Working knowledge of QCBD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Lotus Notes a plus Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities and ability to work collaboratively with team members Commitment to excellence and high standards About Us LEMO is a privately owned Swiss company, located in Sonoma County among the rolling hills of Northern California's wine county, centrally located just 45 minutes north of San Francisco.
