The Role As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance. You will: Lead and develop a strong, motivated staff team Create a positive, supportive, and structured environment for young people Ensure all safeguarding practices are robust and consistently followed Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and all key documentation Drive high standards in line with regulatory and inspection frameworks Manage staffing, rotas, performance, and development Take ownership of inspections and maintain an “inspection-ready” service at all times Build strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders Leadership & Impact This role offers the chance to shape a service, influence culture, and deliver real, lasting outcomes for young people. You will be trusted to lead with autonomy while being supported by a forward-thinking organisation. What We’re Looking For A minimum of 2 years’ experience within children’s residential care NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) A full UK driving licence Proven leadership experience within a residential setting Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements The ability to inspire, lead, and develop a team A resilient, proactive, and child-centred approach This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven leader who wants to make a genuine difference while progressing their career in a rewarding and impactful sector.
