This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, the ability to read construction documents, and a customer-first mindset.</p><hr /><h3>What You’ll Be Doing</h3><ul><li>Install, program, and service <strong>commercial security camera and access control systems</strong></li><li>Work with <strong>industry-leading platforms and manufacturers</strong>, including:</li><li><strong>Brivo, Avigilon, Bosch, Genetec, Software House, Milestone, Hikvision, Axis, Hanwha</strong>, and others</li><li>Run, terminate, test, and troubleshoot <strong>Cat6 and fiber cabling</strong></li><li>Read and interpret <strong>blueprints, construction drawings, and system schematics</strong></li><li>Install and understand <strong>commercial fire alarm components</strong>, including:</li><li>pull stations, smoke detectors, and related devices</li><li>Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance</li><li>Operate <strong>boom lifts and scissor lifts</strong> safely on job sites</li><li>Travel to commercial project sites (approximately <strong>up to 50% nationwide travel</strong>)</li><li>Represent the company professionally while working directly with clients and project teams</li></ul><hr /><h3>Required Skills & Experience</h3><ul><li>Expert-level experience installing <strong>commercial security systems</strong></li><li>Strong <span style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">background</span> in:<ul><li><strong>CCTV / Video Surveillance</strong></li><li><strong>Access Control Systems</strong></li><li><strong>Alarm Systems</strong></li><li><strong>Structured Cabling (Cat6 & Fiber)</strong></li></ul></li><li>Hands-on experience with major commercial platforms (multi‑brand environments)</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues</li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>fire alarm codes and commercial compliance standards</strong></li><li>Experience working with <strong>firewalls and networked security devices</strong></li><li>Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites</li></ul><hr /><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience working in <strong>commercial and enterprise environments</strong></li><li>Prior exposure to <strong>Honeywell or similar enterprise security systems</strong></li><li>Experience coordinating with electricians, GCs, IT teams, and end clients</li><li>Certifications or manufacturer training (a plus, not required)</li></ul><hr /><h3>Culture Fit & Soft Skills</h3><p>Technical skills are critical — but <strong>communication and teamwork matter just as much</strong>.
