Corporate Social Responsibility

At BearingPoint UK we are dedicated to supporting our chosen charities through fundraising, volunteering and pro bono work while also striving to consider and reduce our impact on the planet through our carbon reduction initiatives. Fundraising Every year we vote to support charities that are personal to us and run multiple events throughout the year to fundraise for them. Members of our office have taken part in the Thames Path Challenge, the London Marathon, and organised bake sales, as well as our annual charity auction at our UK Away Day. Alongside our fundraising we also collaborate with our chosen charities through webinars and interactive sessions, often linking them into our team days and events, to understand the impact of their work. Purpose Days Through our Purpose Day initiative every employee also has the opportunity to spend a day giving back to a community or charity of their choice. While this can be done individually we aim to organise regular group Purpose Days such as cooking breakfast for homeless communities in London with the Whitechapel Mission, collating food parcels for those in need with The Felix Project and sourcing raffle prizes for Maggies, a charity focused on supporting those living with cancer. Pro Bono Each year we also provide a set amount of pro bono work to charities and organisations who would benefit from our services. This has included supporting charities with strategy to results and Salesforce discovery. Carbon Reduction Through our carbon reduction initiatives we are focused on supporting our firmwide goals of significantly reducing our carbon emissions by 2030. We carry out an annual Green Challenge to engage employees to take meaningful action to reduce their Carbon Footprint while also working with the firmwide team to better understand and reduce our emissions associated with business travel, commutes and office upkeep.  Life at BearingPoint Back to Life at BearingPoint
