The role ensures control systems, instrumentation, and safety systems are fully compliant, functional, and ready for safe and reliable operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead OR&A activities for I&C systems across project phases. Review I&C engineering deliverables (P&IDs, Cause & Effect, Control Philosophy, SIL studies, F&G systems, DCS/ESD/PLC documentation). Ensure operability, maintainability, and compliance with project and industry standards. Support FAT, SAT, loop checks, commissioning, and start-up activities. Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and readiness reviews. Coordinate with Engineering, Commissioning, and Operations teams for smooth handover. Verify documentation, training, spares, and maintenance strategies prior to start-up. Qualification Required. Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering is mandatory Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role. Strong knowledge of DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA, and field instrumentation. Experience in commissioning, start-up, and operational risk management. Familiarity with IEC, ISA, API, and relevant international standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
