Position Summary Heavy Equipment Mechanic performing comprehensive maintenance and repairs on construction equipment fleet. This role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment support in both shop and field environments for a thriving commercial construction operation. Job Duties Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on heavy equipment including gasoline and diesel enginesDiagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly and effectivelyClean, lubricate, and service machines and componentsOrder, install, and test replacement parts as neededKeep shop areas, tools, and parts inventory clean and organizedCoordinate with supervisors on maintenance schedules and equipment needsSupport product managers or engineers with machine modifications and test runsComplete accurate documentation of work performed Skills Requirements Strong mechanical abilities and problem-solving skills requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with solid communication skillsComfortable in fast-paced, physically demanding environmentMinimum 3 years equivalent mechanical experience requiredComfortable working outdoors, in shop environments, and on active construction sites Ready to join a growing team with excellent benefits?
