Senior Legal Technologist Are you a Legal Technologist who thrives on transforming how law firms draft, automate and deliver documents? We are working with a leading UK law firm seeking a Senior Legal Technologist to join its Innovation and Legal Technology team on a Fixed Term Contract. This is an opportunity to take a lead role in complex document automation and generative AI initiatives that are reshaping the drafting lifecycle. Location: London (Bank)  Contract: 12 Month Fixed-term Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 What you will gain: Exposure to high-impact, firm wide innovation projects The chance to lead complex automation work for both internal stakeholders and external clients A collaborative, fast paced innovation team with real influence across the business Opportunities to mentor junior team members and shape the future of drafting through AI Key responsibilities: Lead delivery of complex document automation projects across the firm Act as a subject matter expert for automation tools including Contract Express, Office and Dragons, Clarilis and HighQ Design and implement document assembly solutions for large-scale drafting programmes Leverage generative AI tools to enhance drafting efficiency and quality Support data gathering and analysis within automated documents Troubleshoot automated products, manage user access and oversee security settings Identify opportunities for automation, AI and system enhancements Deliver training sessions to colleagues to embed new technology effectively Collaborate closely with IT, Knowledge, Consulting and wider Innovation teams What we are looking for: Significant experience delivering legal technology projects within a global law firm or professional services environment Strong hands on configuration experience with leading document automation platforms A solid understanding of the legal drafting lifecycle and how legal work is delivered Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage competing deadlines A creative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for innovation in legal services If you are passionate about legal tech and ready to take ownership of complex automation initiatives, we would love to hear from you.
