About the Role

Associate Director Role Summary Design-Led Architecture Studio | Southwest London | Salary: Excellent Package DOE Lead People. Shape Projects. Drive Growth. An award-winning international architecture and interior design studio is looking for an exceptional Associate Director to join its growing leadership team in Southwest London. Following a period of sustained growth, the practice is seeking a client-facing leader who can confidently manage teams, build lasting client relationships, and oversee the successful delivery of beautifully designed projects from concept through to completion. This is an opportunity for someone ready to step into an Associate Director role, or an established Associate looking for greater responsibility within a thriving practice. Working across high-end residential, hospitality, commercial and cultural projects, you'll play a key role in both project delivery and the continued growth of the studio. The Role You'll be responsible for leading project teams, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors, while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest design and technical standards across all RIBA stages. Alongside project leadership, you'll mentor and develop architects within the studio, helping shape both the team's success and the future direction of the practice. What You'll Be Doing Lead multidisciplinary project teams across all RIBA work stages Act as the main client contact, building trusted, long-term relationships Oversee the successful delivery of complex UK and international projects Manage project programmes, resources, budgets and commercial performance Coordinate consultants and contractors throughout the design and construction process Mentor and develop architects and project teams Support business growth through networking, client engagement and identifying new opportunities Champion design quality, technical excellence and collaborative working About You ARB registered Architect with extensive post-qualification experience Strong experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills Commercial awareness with experience managing project programmes and budgets Strong technical understanding with excellent Revit knowledge Confident mentoring and developing junior and senior team members A natural leader with excellent communication and presentation skills Someone currently operating at Senior Architect level ready for the next step, or an existing Associate seeking a fresh challenge Why Apply?
