Project Manager – Highways/Infrastructure

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing a variety of Civil/Highway engineering sectors with a primary focus of infrastructure based projects. Role will be based in Manchester with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required. As a Project Manager your key responsibilities include: Having Airport/Civil/Highway infrastructure experience working for a main contractor Providing direction, motivation and leadership to both internal staff and external consultants or contractors engaged in providing technical support activities to the project Overseeing the successful delivery of projects to scope, target cost, quality, programme and completion encompassing design, engineering, construction, handover and commercial aspects ensuring perfect delivery is achieved Implementing a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost savings opportunities are identified and actioned Ensuring efficient management of the Company’s resources; employees, suppliers and subcontractors  Airside passes would be advantageous
