Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor – Secondary SEND Setting (Basingstoke)
This is a role for someone who can see past behaviour and understand what’s really going on.
We’re recruiting a Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor for a specialist secondary setting in Basingstoke, supporting students with SEMH and additional needs.
You’ll be working with pupils who may have been disengaged from education, helping them re-engage, build confidence and develop positive routines.
The role:
1:1 mentoring and small group support
Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
Encouraging attendance, engagement and routine
Working closely with pastoral and teaching teams
What’s on offer:
£93 per day
Temp to perm after 12 weeks
Full-time role
Immediate start
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
Can remain calm and consistent under pressure
Has experience with challenging behaviour
Requirements:
DBS on the Update Service
Up-to-date safeguarding training
