About the role: We are currently recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Support Staff to join a supportive educational setting in Northwich on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed and are looking to gain valuable experience within an educational environment. Previous school-based experience is not essential; however, experience in sectors such as childcare, care work, support work, youth work, coaching, or customer service would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching and support staff to provide day-to-day assistance to students, helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment where all pupils can achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Support students both inside and outside the classroom with learning and daily activities. Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons and educational activities. Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement. Help support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development. Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families to support a positive learning environment. Pre-requisites: Experience in a related field such as care, childcare, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or customer-facing roles is desirable. A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
