They handle applications supporting Diagnostic Imaging operations.</p><h4>Essential Functions of the Role</h4><ul><li>Demonstrates basic level knowledge of concepts, standards, procedures and equipment.</li><li>Responsible for day-to-day operations and integrity of Imaging based applications & devices including image workflow, equipment and other related activities.</li><li>Works closely with Imaging personnel to ensure complete DICOM data capture into PACS. Also ensures network transmission, RIS validation, and exceptions handling in all necessary applications promptly.</li><li>Provides system administration support to departmental managers. Generates statistical reports on utilization, compliance, and other metrics.</li><li>Performs, as needed, charge capture reconciliation, requesting new procedure codes and ensuring correct charges are applied to accounts.</li><li>Implements and conducts user training programs.</li><li>Provides technical and problem-resolution support. Offers first-line application support to all end users. Diagnoses system hardware, software, network, and user faults.</li><li>Serves as a liaison between users, vendors and IT.</li><li>Ensures system efficiency and security.</li><li>Provides after-hours, weekend, holiday, and on-call support on a rotational basis to multiple facilities or as needed.</li></ul><h4>Key Success Factors</h4><ul><li>Thorough knowledge of the radiology department processes is required.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.</li><li>Availability outside normal business hours. Able to take call, if required.</li><li>Able to perform tasks autonomously without need for routine oversight.</li><li>Able to provide services timely, accurately, and cost-efficiently in compliance with system standards, policies and procedures.</li><li>Able to serve as preceptor by providing quality training to new team members and on new services and initiatives.</li><li>Knowledge of EPIC Radiant, Visage PACS, Nuance PowerScribe, TeraRecon, PenRad and other imaging applications.</li></ul><h4>Belonging Statement</h4><p>We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.</p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li>EDUCATION - H.S.
