The Facility Controller effectively supervises and coordinates all aspects of the facility business office with the financial and operational goals and objectives of the facility and facility support center. <ul><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: left;">Analyze the monthly financial statements with Warden and Assistant Wardens using analytical skills to develop operational efficiencies. </li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: left;">Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable administrative, operational, corporate accounting and personnel policies and procedures.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: left;">Implement a general knowledge of all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and have a working knowledge of the terms of the applicable management contracts.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: left;">Establish, modify, document and coordinate the implementation of financial, accounting and administrative procedures and internal controls for the facility that are in keeping with accepted accounting principles and corporate policies and procedures.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: left;">Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Accounting or other related filed.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Six years of increasingly responsible business experience. </li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Three years of supervisory experience. </li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Additional graduate course work in a business-related field may be substituted for the required business experience on a year-for-year basis up to two years. </li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">No substitution for supervisory experience.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Must demonstrate working knowledge of accounting principles, Microsoft Word, Excel, and the principles and practices of supervision, training, and management.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age. </li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">A valid driver's license is required.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: left;">MBA or CPA is preferred. </li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: left;">Experience with Enterprise software such as Oracle / JD Edwards.</li></ul>CoreCivic is a Drug-Free Workplace & EOE including Disability/Veteran
