About the role: We are currently recruiting for a dedicated History Teacher to join a secondary school in Market Harborough on a full-time, long-term supply basis starting September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to bring history to life and inspire a passion for learning. Key Responsibilities: Teach History across KS3 and KS4. Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons. Assess and track student progress. Support students preparing for GCSE examinations. Develop creative learning resources. Contribute to the Humanities department. Pre-requisites: QTS and a History-related qualification. Previous History teaching experience. Strong knowledge of the curriculum. Excellent classroom management skills. Enhanced DBS clearance. Strong organisational skills.
