About the Role
Join our dedicated team in Bradford as a Children's Social Worker within the Children & Families Team. In this vital role, you will work closely with children, families, and various stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Your expertise will help drive positive outcomes, providing support and intervention to families in need of assistance. Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures. Providing direct support and intervention services to children and families, promoting their welfare and development. Participating in multi-agency meetings and fostering effective partnerships to enhance service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
