As a Pharmacy Process Engineer, you will partner across pharmacy operations, technology, and external suppliers to design, improve, and institutionalize processes that support strategic pharmacy programs. This role blends analytical rigor, collaboration, and change leadership to deliver measurable operational outcomes in a complex, matrixed healthcare environment.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead end-to-end process mapping and process engineering initiatives aligned to pharmacy operating effectiveness standards.</p></li><li><p>Partner with operational and functional leaders to identify performance gaps, prioritize improvement opportunities, and maintain an actionable process improvement roadmap.</p></li><li><p>Analyze current-state workflows to identify root causes of performance issues and design future-state processes that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.</p></li><li><p>Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to align stakeholders on process design, risks, dependencies, and implementation plans.</p></li><li><p>Serve as a change agent by driving stakeholder understanding, adoption, and sustainment of new processes and tools.</p></li><li><p>Apply consulting and analytical skills to influence decisions, resolve complex problems, and recommend data-driven solutions.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, IT delivery teams, and external partners to support process impacts for new and emerging programs.</p></li><li><p>Maintain clear, well-documented process artifacts and communicate updates through effective written and verbal presentations.</p></li><li><p>Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining accountability for outcomes.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 4 years of experience in process engineering, process improvement, or project management roles supporting complex initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Healthcare or pharmacy domain experience.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience with end-to-end process mapping and process redesign.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a fact-based approach to decision making.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization.</p></li><li><p>Ability to influence stakeholders, motivate teams, and drive adoption of change.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency using process mapping tools such as Visio and Confluence.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage ambiguity, work independently, and execute multiple priorities.</p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience partnering with IT delivery teams and external vendors.</p></li><li><p>Consulting or internal advisory experience supporting enterprise initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Experience applying formal process improvement methodologies.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><br /><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, age, disability, sex, childbirth (including pregnancy) or related medical conditions including but not limited to lactation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital or familial status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, citizenship status or any other characteristic protected by applicable equal employment opportunity laws.<p style="text-align:left"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Please note that you must meet our posting guidelines to be eligible for consideration.  Policy can be reviewed at this </span></span></span></span></span></span></span><a href="https://iris.cigna.com/career_benefits/empowered/career_opportunities" target="_blank">link</a><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p></p><p></p><p><span>Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment in a manner </span><span>consistent with all federal, state and local ordinances.</span></p>
