As they continue to grow across Glasgow, they are looking for a Dispatcher who wants to be part of a business that is investing in both technology and its people.</p> <p>This is a central role within their operation, where you will coordinate bookings, support Drivers, and ensure their service runs smoothly every day.</p> <p><b>What you&rsquo;ll gain:</b></p> <ul> <li>&pound;27,000 &#8211; &pound;28,000 depending on experience.</li> <li>Part-time hours also available (pro rata for part time hours)&nbsp;&#8211; to be discussed.</li> <li>42 hours across 4 or 5 days, on rotation &#8211; full-time hours.</li> <li>A fast-paced, engaging environment where your decisions matter.</li> <li>Ongoing training and development as our client invest in your growth.</li> <li>A supportive team culture with clear communication and collaboration.</li> <li>Free parking and pension.</li> <li>Genuine progression opportunities within a growing business.</li> </ul> <p><b>What you&rsquo;ll be doing:</b></p> <ul> <li>Managing live bookings and dispatch operations.</li> <li>Allocating jobs and coordinating Drivers efficiently.</li> <li>Supporting Drivers during shifts and resolving issues quickly.</li> <li>Handling customer calls professionally and calmly.</li> <li>Monitoring delays and maintaining service standards.</li> <li>Using dispatch and internal systems accurately.</li> <li>Working closely with the operations team to deliver a reliable service.</li> </ul> <p><b>What you&rsquo;ll need:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience in dispatch, logistics, transport, or similar coordination roles is desirable.</li> <li>IT literate.</li> <li>Excellent customer service and telephone manner.</li> <li>Confident managing your own workload.</li> <li>Good knowledge of Glasgow or ability to learn quickly.</li> <li>Confidence using systems in a live, fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Availability to work rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends.</li> <li>Ideally a full UK driving licence due to shift patterns.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li> </ul> <p>This role includes a short online recruitment process which takes around 10 minutes to complete.
