Location: Tigard, OR
Pay: Starting at $27/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do:
- Perform advanced first article (FAIR), in-process, final, and receiving inspections
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and ensure compliance with specifications
- Apply advanced GD&T principles to verify form, fit, and function
- Utilize CMM and FARO equipment for programming and inspection of complex geometries
- Develop inspection strategies for tight-tolerance and high-risk components
- Conduct weld inspections and specialized inspections as needed
- Review and redline drawings and travelers for accuracy and manufacturability
- Support ISO 9001:2015 compliance, including calibration, traceability, and product release
- Lead internal audits and support CAPA/root cause analysis efforts
- Maintain inspection documentation, FAIRs, and traceability systems
- Assist in creating and revising work instructions and operational method sheets

What You Need to Have:
- 5–8+ years of mechanical inspection experience in machining and/or fabrication
- Strong experience with GD&T (advanced level preferred)
- Proficiency with CMM and/or FARO programming and inspection
- Experience performing FAIR inspections and reporting
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
The Musts:
- Proficient with hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.)
- Experience with in-process, receiving, and final inspections
- Knowledge of traceability, RMA processes, and part marking
- Ability to support calibration and measurement systems
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Effective communication across teams
Preferred:
- Technical degree or formal training in quality or manufacturing
- Experience with internal auditing (ISO 9001)
- Background in optical comparator programming
- Experience with laser part engraving
- Experience with weld inspection (AWS standards)
- Leadership or training experience mentoring junior inspectors
