<strong>Job description</strong><br>A global Robotics manufacturer is looking for a Robotics Engineer to join their team to install, commission and program robots across the UK<br><br>The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and adaptable Engineer with a strong robotics background. Operating across the UK and very rarely Ireland, you be paid door-to-door and all necessary expenses will be paid for by the company whilst working away, along with an impressive company car provided<br><br>This is a fantastic opportunity with a multi-national Robotics company who supply to some the biggest names in the world<br> <br><strong>Role:</strong> Robotics Engineer<br><strong>Office Location:</strong> West Midlands<br><strong>Coverage Area:</strong> National<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £50,000 - £55,000<br><strong>Hours: </strong>37.5 per week<br> <br><strong>The key responsibilities of the Robotics Engineer role will be:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Perform setup and configuration of<strong> robots</strong>, including collaborative robot software commissioning.</li><ul><li>Develop and configure <strong>PLC</strong> software to support automation processes.</li><li>Design, set up, and program <strong>HMI systems</strong> for operator interfaces.</li><li>Collaborate with the Applications Manager to <strong>identify and implement strategic opportunities</strong> that reduce costs and increase margins.</li><li>Support <strong>AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots)</strong> and fleet management <strong>programming and integration</strong>.</li></ul></ul><strong>The key requirements of the Robotics Engineer will be</strong><br> <ul><li><strong>Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience</strong> in software engineering, ideally within the <strong>robotics or logistics automation industry</strong>.</li><ul><li>Strong familiarity with <strong>modern software development tools and processes</strong>, with the ability to adapt and apply them effectively to automation projects.</li><li><strong>Experience with AMR programming, fleet management, and mobile robotics</strong> is advantageous but not essential.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to <strong>adapt to new and changing demands</strong> in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Solid <strong>technical knowledge and understanding</strong>, with a commitment to staying up to date with the <strong>latest trends and developments</strong> in the field.</li><li><strong>Excellent time management</strong> skills with the ability to <strong>plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks and projects</strong></li><li>Strong <strong>leadership and motivational abilities</strong>, empowering team members to achieve their best.</li><li>Commitment to <strong>compliance with rules, regulations, and industry standards</strong>.</li></ul></ul><strong> </strong><br><strong>Please apply online or contact kieran.brookes@technical-network.co.uk for a confidential conversation</strong><br><strong> </strong><br>Executive Network Group, encompassing Technical Network, Network HR, HSE Network & Procurement People, sourcing mid to senior level management for automotive, aerospace, engineering and manufacturing industrial sectors, with a portfolio of services including executive search, advertising, MRO for permanent and interim contract recruitment services
