<p><strong>Job Description </strong></p>
<p>This fabrication role sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of metalworking machines to produce precision components according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining high safety, quality, and efficiency standards.</p>
<p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>· Setting up and operating CNC press brakes, shears, ironworkers, saws, drills, grinders, rollers, punch presses, and related equipment.</p>
<p>· Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and specifications to select tooling, calculate bend allowances, and ensure accurate part production.</p>
<p>· Using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, squares, angle gauges) to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards.</p>
<p>· Recording accurate inventory transactions and labor times in the ERP system while continuously seeking opportunities to improve fabrication efficiency.</p>
<p>· Promoting safety in every task, sustaining 5S workplace organization, and supporting team training for less experienced operators.</p>
<p>· Maintaining long-term vision for department growth while working independently at a steady pace under deadlines.</p>
<p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p>
<p>High-school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years fabrication or job-shop experience preferred. Ability to independently program and operate CNC press brakes, select/align tooling, and perform mathematical calculations for bends and layouts. Familiarity with ERP systems and strong communication/critical-thinking skills required. Forklift and crane certification (training provided).</p>
