About the Role
About the role: Justteachers is recruiting an enthusiastic 1:1 SEN Specialist to support secondary-aged students within a specialist SEN school in Rugby. Beginning in September 2026 through to July 2027 , this full-time opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people achieve both academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with additional learning needs. Encourage engagement in lessons and support academic progress. Implement strategies recommended by teachers and external professionals. Support students with emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Assist with personal development and independence skills where required. Maintain accurate records of progress and interventions. Pre-requisites: Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN. Knowledge of autism, ADHD, SEMH, or moderate learning difficulties. Ability to build positive and trusting relationships. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexible, resilient, and proactive attitude. Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
