The role involves coordinating day-to-day office procedures, monitoring ship requests, maintaining accurate records, supporting budget-related activities, and acting as a key link between MSC CM (UK) and MSC CTD (Sorrento) in relation to purchase order processes. The successful candidate will help ensure smooth communication between the office and vessels, while supporting reporting, documentation, and database management.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Your Impact</H2> </div><div><p>•    Prepare regular reports on expenses, ship requests, and office budgets.<br />•    Monitor costs and expenses to support budget preparation and financial control.<br />•    Prepare financial, administrative, and statistical reports as required.<br />•    Produce presentations and reports in PowerPoint using assigned data and statistics.<br />•    Monitor ships’ requests, including the codification of new deck and safety materials.<br />•    Act as the link between MSC CM (UK) and MSC CTD (Sorrento) in relation to purchase order numbers.<br />•    Maintain and update company databases, including Infoship, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.<br />•    Manage correspondence between the office and vessels via email and other communication channels.<br />•    Distribute, store, and organise correspondence, including letters, emails, and packages.<br />•    Organise, store, and print company documentation as required.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Your Journey so far</H2> </div><div><p>•    Previous experience as a Deck Officer (experience sailing as Cadet or 3rd Officer – ideally on Cruise Ships)<br />•    Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or office-based support role would be advantageous.<br />•    Proven experience preparing reports, presentations, and departmental documentation.<br />•    Experience monitoring requests, maintaining records, and working with internal administrative processes.<br />•    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.<br />•    Experience using company databases or similar systems, such as Infoship, would be beneficial.<br />•    Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.<br />•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Your Essentials</H2> </div><div><p>•    Experience gained within the maritime, cruise, or shipping industry.<br />•    Deck Officer background or equivalent operational maritime experience.<br />•    Strong administrative and reporting capability.<br />•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.<br />•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.<br />•    Effective communication and coordination skills.<br />•    Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to supporting departmental operations.<br />•    Willingness to travel.<br />•    Eligible to live and work in the UK.</p></div></div></div><div><div style="border:1.0px solid transparent;padding:10.0px 0.0px"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em">Our commitment</h2></div><div><p><span><span><span><span><span>We are committed to building a future that values diverse perspectives, embraces the world beyond borders, and fosters an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic selves.
